The mission of the Westside School Alumni Foundation is to preserve the site, educate, and enrich the public on the history and value of the Historic Westside School. An integral part of the Foundation's vision is to promote and support projects that stimulate growth in the old Westside community. Projects that reflect the diversity of ethnicity, faith, socio-economic status, and professions of its membership and that encourages the development of the Westside School as a cultural destination in a most unique urban community.
With the support and efforts of the Westside School Alumni Foundation, Westside School: Our School, Our Community, Our Time (1923-1967) is a collection of photographs, memories, and stories dedicated to preserving the school's legacy and the history of the Westside, which speaks to both its continuing challenges and promises for the future.
